Kanangra Reserve, Glebe Street, Kingswood is part of the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland vegetation community.
The main vegetative threat is African Love Grass that is over shading many different native ground covers. The removal of this grassy weed will assist in improving the native biodiversity of the site. All we need is lots of keen volunteers even if they have never done this work before. Bring your family, bring your friends and get social with like-minded people.
A free barbeque will follow the event for all the hard workers as a thank you. Please wear appropriate clothing and closed in shoes and register to ensure we have enough tools and catering.
