Getting involved is easy.

For young and old

Around Australia there are many places that you can go to and join in Bushcare’s Major Day Out. On the menu to the right there is a link to list of places by State. Most of the locations have more info on a web page you can access from there. Come along and bring a friend, spread the word.

If there isn’t somewhere close contact us info@bushcaresmajordayout.org and we will try and get someone to start something in your area.

If you want to organise an event for Bushcare’s Major Day Out, you can talk to your local Council, the Catchment Authority or your Local Landcare group.

If you want to register a site, send us the details. Where, when and a description of what people will be doing. The more information and description we have, the better job we can do to promote your Bushcare’s Major Day Out. We love photographs, we can use them in posts and on the web page we will create for you.

Willoughby City Council have been involved in organising Bushcare’s Major Day Out since the beginning and they have prepared excellent information for other Councils or Catchment Authorities to follow.
